Snappy has spent the week in Class 1. As part of our #globalpal project, Snappy the crocodile has joined us all the way from Australia – sent by Mrs Shannon and her son Oskar. Snappy has been visiting some of our homes to find out more about Middleham. A quick summary of his visits this week:
- checking out Tennant’s Auctioneers in Leyburn with Evie and meeting a friendly alligator,
- practicing jumping on a trampoline with Ella and Alfie,
- learning to ride a horse with Tom – an important skill with all those 4 legged friends around us,
- heading out for dinner with Scarlett,
- exploring Archie’s house and enjoying some pretend play!
He also learnt about the Isle of Wight from Evie’s Aunt who was staying for the weekend and saw a picture of a crocodile which Ella and Alfie’s Uncle Ian saw when he was in Australia.
We’ve loved having Snappy in Class 1 and the children are excited to learn more about Jolly George and Liberty’s adventures around the globe.
